PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Saint Michael Catholic High School Website. My name is Lou Stranges and I am honoured and blessed to be the 9th Principal of Saint Michael. I am very much looking forward to part of such a wonderful school community, with such a rich history and reputation in meeting the needs of the students of Niagara Falls.

Saint Michael opened its doors in September of 1989 on 6009 Valley Way, serving the students of the east end of Niagara Falls. With the expansion of the southern portion of Niagara Falls, a new building was constructed in 1992 and is the current home of the school. Over the years, there have been outstanding Mustang achievements and accomplishments, reinforcing our commitment and dedication to excellence.

Giving witness to our faith and following in the footsteps of Christ are at the center of our actions. Regardless of the task put forth by our staff and students, the deep roots of our faith will only assist in the nurturing the spiritual and emotional development of our students. With this in mind, I truly believe that all students will have a better chance of fulfilling their God given potential as contributing members of our constantly changing world.

Saint Michael is a school with over 1000 students. Our dedicated staff members will continue to strive for excellence and support the learning of each student. Our exceptional facility provides extra value in an already dynamic Catholic learning environment. A pathway for all learners is available here at Saint Michael! Saint Michael students are truly blessed to attend a high school that will have all possible program options!

The staff at Saint Michael is truly committed in meeting the needs of each and every one of our students. Our teaching and support staff are deeply passionate about their vocation as Catholic school educators. Staff members will use creativity and innovation when delivering curriculum expectations, yet are kind, caring adults when called upon.
