Grade 12 - Communication Technology
TGG4M - Communications Technology: Print and Graphic Communications -Yearbook - (University/College):
This course emphasizes the development of the knowledge and skills required for the production of media arts works i.e.. Photography art. Students will develop an appreciation of the history of media arts through analyzing specific works, and will create media art works using a variety of technologies (ie. computer graphics digital camera, photo-imaging software, and digital video production techniques). The culminating activity will result in contributing to the production of the school yearbook. PREREQUISITE: TGG3M - Communications Technology: Print and Graphic Communications (Yearbook) or AWQ3M - Photography or TGJ3M - Communications Technology
TGJ4M - Communications Technology (University/College):
This course enables students to further develop media knowledge and skills while designing and producing projects in the areas of live, recorded, and graphic communications. Students may work in the areas of TV, video, and movie production; radio and audio production; print and graphic communications; photography; digital imaging; broadcast journalism; and interactive new media. Students will also expand their awareness of environmental and societal issues related to communications technology, and will investigate career opportunities and challenges in a rapidly changing technological environment. PREREQUISITE: TGJ3M - Communications Technology or AWQ3M - Photography
TGJ4MA - Animation and Game Design (University/College):
